The Village of Chambers provides the sanitary sewer system in the Village. 

 

The Village of Chambers uses lagoons for the sanitary waste of our Village. 

 

The lagoons are pond-like bodies of water or basins designed to receive, hold, and treat wastewater for a predetermined period of time.  In the lagoon, wastewater is treated through a combination of physical, biological, and chemical processes. 

 

The treatment of the wastewater occurs naturally and the lagoons were individually designed to fit the specific site and use.
